A PLACE TO DISCOVER
A little closer
to Cutchogue.
Coffee Pot Cellars offers a small, relaxed tasting-room setting in Cutchogue. Its garden and distinctive roadside entrance make it an easy-to-recognize stop.
THE STORY BEHIND THE PLACE
History & heritage
Winemaker Adam Suprenant founded Coffee Pot Cellars in 2008 and opened its Cutchogue tasting room in 2013. The name refers to the distinctive lighthouse near Orient Point.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The vineyard experience
This is a small tasting-room visit with owners Adam Suprenant and Laura Klahre, rather than a large estate visitor center. Outdoor seating and a picnic area are available when weather permits. Conservation and art are part of its identity, including the Merlot for Monarchs milkweed initiative and Laura’s snail-art work.
THE WINES
A sense of their style
The small-batch portfolio focuses on Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The winery emphasizes regional character and a minimalist approach rather than a very large range of labels.
Styles describe the producer’s range, not a live tasting menu or inventory. Offerings change by vintage and season.
