THE STORY BEHIND THE PLACE
History & heritage
The Laurel property was first planted in 1984, and its winery was built in 1996 under the Laurel Lake name. Dan Abrams founded Ev&Em in 2021, naming it for his children Everett and Emilia.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The vineyard experience
The renovated colonial-style tasting room offers views into the production area, while broad decks overlook the vines. The visitor program includes hosted vineyard and winery experiences and a barrel-room option. The tasting and upper decks are reserved for guests aged 21 or older; families with children are welcomed on the lawn.
THE WINES
A sense of their style
Initially planted entirely to Chardonnay, the estate later added other classic French varieties. Its current agricultural identity spans red, white and rosé wines, with more than twenty acres under vine within the forty-acre property.
Styles describe the producer’s range, not a live tasting menu or inventory. Offerings change by vintage and season.
